Race Night "Hard course, one winner!"

Thanks to all who attended The MFC Race Night at The Crown on 28th last, after a slow start and a missing race track, starter Nick Sweet got them away and with Thelma's team running a slick Tote, amusement was guaranteed. The punters were all "loaded" as opposed to the dice which weren't (Patrick!) and Horse owners were very generous with Shep winning the first three races reverting thankfully, to his form on the soccer field for the remainder of the night.

Steve J who had poster up in his window for a month, forgot to come but a generous late punt, thanks SJ! £530 profit overall, great!

Feb 2008 Cheers Boff!!! and good luck!!

It is with sadness that we announce that Club Secretary Guy (boffer) Barker Hall has had to resign from his position as he and his family are moving to sunny Cornwall. Guy has played regularly over the last twenty or so years for the clubs teams and took over as secretary in the 2006-2007 season. He has also been heavily involved in the clubs fundraising and will be sorely missed by us all. Our loss is Cornwall's gain.
